Gulf Coast heads to Fulton for playoffs

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast starts the playoffs Tuesday in Fulton.

It'll be the second visit to Fulton this year for the Bulldogs (3-11-1), who finished third in the South Division. ICC (15-3), which has won 14 straight, is the second seed from the North. Gulf Coast lost 4-3 on Sept. 14 after leading 3-2 at halftime.


The winner advances to the state semifinals, which will be played at Hinds on Oct. 26. The championship game will take place the next day.
