Oxford Emory Hands ECCC Warriors 5-1 Home Soccer Loss

Oxford College of Emory University scored two goals in the first half and three more in the second to pick up at 5-1 soccer win over the East Central Community College Warriors on Sunday, Oct. 13, at Bailey Stadium on the ECCC campus in Decatur.

 

The ECCC Warriors fell to 6-10 overall on the season. The Oxford Emory Eagles from Oxford, Ga., improved to 8-2-1.

 

Scoring for East Central was freshman midfielder Quadarius Harris (Jackson, Jim Hill) with his first career goal.

 

The Warriors will play their final MACJC North Division match of the year at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, against Northwest in Senatobia A win or a tie would ensure East Central a spot in the MACJC playoffs.
